Geoffrey laughs at our tree that was in storage for many years, but we don't want to spend the money on a new tree this year. So much money we have spent already in 6 months! I called it our Charley Brown tree.

I have to admit that I have done some dangerous decorating this year. I have stepped on ladders in ways I know I never should. Luckily, I haven't been hurt and the house looks great! I am severely disappointed in our Christmas Tree! It is so sad looking but it doesn't change what we are really celebrating! I am grateful for the season to focus on love and serving others just as Christ did for us. It is truly what this season is about and it makes me so happy to remember why we celebrate!
