100 Year Old Table and Project

Geoffrey accidentally busted the school table and so we went on the market for another. We found this table and it wasn't too much money. I love it! it is a great size, shape, and the feet are a great design. They are under the center of the table so it is easier to sit around it without the legs being in the way. We were surprised to see the old auction number stapled on with old nails. Based on the company stamp we were able to find out about how old it was as well as the ironwork for the locking mechanism. Such a fun discovery! We decided to reupholster the chairs from the previous table to match each child's likes for homeschool.

I can't believe I broke the table! I was just trying to move it around and the legs snapped! We found this amazing table and it was so cool doing the research about it. Doing the chairs was a lot of hard work and it took some serious effort but we felt the boys would absolutely love their surprise. They did in fact love the chairs.

Mario Monopoly

We decided to play Mario Monopoly together and it took way too long haha. We were both ready to be done by the time we finished but it was so much fun playing together.

Day After Christmas

Typical Eli Face....

Geoffrey decided to cut down the tree that had died on his parents' land next to his sister Laura's house. It was difficult. He made it look easy, however. The boys had fun watching, although Calvin (and I) worried about his safety.
It led to them replacing the roof of the house which was going to be done anyway. haha.

Grandma and Grandpa Geddie needed a tree cut down so I had Greggie and Calvin help me out. Unfortunately, the tree ended up hitting the roof and then I had to go about finding a person to fix the roof. Luckily the roof needed to be repaired so it worked out anyway. Greggie and Calvin did a wonderful job helping me with such a large project. Watson, Perry, Eli and Harrison seemed to really enjoyed watching. Grandpa Geddie felt the pile we made was too far from the street so while dinner was being made, I had to move all the branches a second time which was tiring but I am grateful we were able to serve. The only hard part was being away from Mommy while working.

Santa's Wonderland!

We ended Christmas Day with a bang! Santa got the family a trip to Santa's Wonderland! It was so fun! It was VERY cold and the lines were insane, but the kids had fun playing in snow, sledding, tubbing on the snow, and riding a train.
This was a wonderful way to end Christmas. It was a bit stressful but the boys seemed to have a lot of fun. They had so much stuff there for all the boys to enjoy. We went with Uncle Gary and Aunt Laura. Towards the end of the evening we took a train which the little boys loved! It was a great memory for all of us, minus the diaper blow out that Eli had haha
