September Events

Beautiful new table!!
We determined that we needed a bigger table as the one we had wasn't nearly big enough for all of us. We found this beautiful table with chairs on the Facebook Market place. We got it for not even 1/4 of its original price. I am still amazed we were able to get it into the van! It is very heavy and very solid which is perfect for a house full of boys!

While Tia was away for Time Out for Woman, the boys helped me arrange the family photo wall so we could make it look nice and homey for her when she came home.

Talking to the boys while I am gone during the week. I looked forward everyday talking with the boys and Tia. It was so hard being away.

Community Pool! The boys love going swimming.

Levi's Birthday Party

I believe the hardest part of September this year was the strep throat. Just about everyone came down with it in the house this year. Although, it wasn't at the same time. It was one or two of us at a time. Tia got so sick that I left Corpus early to come and help take care of her. I was really worried about her. Luckily we all survived and regained our health rather quickly. I am grateful that Heavenly Father continues to bless us so much!

Geoffrey the Handy Man

He is always soo good at solving problems and figuring things out. He has replaced light fixtures, ceiling fans, the dishwasher, maybe more I am forgetting. I am so blessed by him! The landlord I think appreciates him as well.
I realized with this Landlord that he is more willing to make changes that we need if I am able to do the work for him to save him some money. The dishwasher died and I didn't want to wait for it to be installed as Tia does most of the dishes while I am away. I met the Landlord at the store and picked up the dishwasher and installed it. Our toilet stopped working so I fixed that and then there were some fans in the house not working so I installed those as well. I am grateful to have the chance to work so hard for my loving family.

Outside Fun!

We decided to have some outside fun with the boys. They really want a swimming pool which we don't have so we went out to play in the sprinklers. It was a little chilly but they seemed to really enjoy it anyway. They kept fighting over the water and then eventually just played in the water that puddled up on the ground. It was really fun playing outside with them.

This might be why Eli has diarrhea.... all the time...non stop
