New Tramploine and Swing Set

The kids were SO excited about the surprises. The tramp is HUGE. We were going to get the 10x23ft but they sent us the 10x20. It is still HUGE.

This was a huge surprise for the boys. They had no idea we were getting a trampoline let a lone such a large trampoline. They were so excited to put it together. I was going to wait till Saturday but ended up putting it together that night. Mommy was so good at letting me do that while she made dinner so we could enjoy the trampoline before bed time. The boys helped carry all the heavy pieces to the backyard and helped me set it up. We also purchased another swing set as 2 swings was not nearly enough. The boys love playing in our backyard now!

Iris

My mom has Iris blooming in her yard right now. Some of them are from Grandpa Lindamen's old house garden. We would like to plant some too. My mom gave us this from her yard that had broken off one of her plants. sooooo pretty!

Date Night

Geoffrey surprised me with Olive Garden from the drive up pick up restaurants are doing now to stay open as we can't dine in with the virus.

After dinner, we had a musical marathon and watched the 25th anniversary Phantom of the Opera that was offered free on Youtube (my absolute favorite performance), and then Les Miserable. Geoffrey had never seen either. So that was really fun to share with him.

Easter Decoration Project/Date Night Project

It was so cute and fun, Geoffrey got this art activity for us to do together. The boys really enjoyed it. There was such a sweet moment when Greggie was painting with the extra paint "I love mom and dad". He was looking up at Geoffrey with such happiness and shaking in his excitement. Geoffrey was so touched. "Is that me?" Greggie shook his head yes.
Greggie never calls Geoffrey Dad or daddy. It is understandable. So this meant so much to Geoffrey.

This was such a wonderful/tender moment. I loved being able to work on this project with Greggie and Calvin. While letting the paint dry, Greggie wrote "I love mom and dad".  He looked very excited and I assumed he was referring to mommy and Tyler but then he told me that he meant me. My heart melted. He never really refers to me as Dad so I was so touched that he would paint that for me. I am grateful for Greggie and Calvin and for all they do. I love spending time with each of them and I have loved having them in my life.

Geoffrey got a kit for us to make a sign for our family wall. It was so fun to do together. It took us 3 hours! We listened to conference talks. We took a time-laps video of us making it.
