Mom's 68th Birthday

We went to the temple with mommy

Then we went to treat her at the cheesecake factory and give her presents. We got her a photo scanner that scans a group of photos onto your computer super fast. We are hoping that it makes her job so much easier for her life history she is going to be doing this next year. We love you mommy!
After much discussion we decided the best gift for mom would be the photo scanner. When we went to go get it, the store didn't have it! We drove to another store about 30 minutes away to get it for her and we are so glad we did. She does so much for us and we wanted to do something nice for her! It was so much fun being in the temple with her and then going to get some dessert with her. I am so glad we live close and can celebrate with her.

Texas Roadhouse Date!

The food was Soo good! We were craving some yummy food to eat. We went to a store called At Home before we called it a night and looked at Christmas Decor. I wish I had taken a picture of some of the nativities because the faces on them were poorly done. When I thought it couldn't get any worse, I found another with which the faces looked like they were melting off and baby Jesus had a giant red nose.  haha. We found a scary clown decoration on sale and took a funny video for his friend that is terrified of clowns. We always have a great time playing.
This was such a fun date! I love spending time with Mommy! She is so wonderful! We had a delicious meal at Texas Roadhouse. Those ROLLS! So good. Although mommy would say that I love anything that is food so I reckon my opinion isn't all that valid. We had so much fun at the store At Home. I love spending time with mommy. We always find something fun to do and enjoy being together.

Corpus Court!

Geoffrey was taken to court by the Corpus Christi landlord. Geoffrey was so organized, had his evidence ready in a binder with tabs prepared. The judge was very impressed with him and he won! It was great news! We are getting our deposit back lol.

Back in June, following our honeymoon we had a stroke of bad luck with my Landlord in Corpus Christi. He felt we had broken the lease and then instead of letting us explain, gave us notice of eviction. Rather than face the eviction, we left which worked out well for us to get our wonderful house in Little Elm. Well as time passed, the Landlord refused to give the security deposit back and would not respond to any letters that I sent him. So Mommy and I decided to sue the landlord for the Security Deposit. I had kept every notification sent and received from the Landlord and I spent a lot of time preparing for the Court Hearing. This is the picture I sent Mommy right before the court was in session. The Landlord didn't show but his property manager and lawyer did. The judge complimented me on my notebook several times and said she had never had a layperson present so well in her court. After I shared my side of the story, the landlord's lawyer shared why he felt I was at fault. The judge looked at me and then back to the lawyer with a puzzled look on her face. You see, Mommy and I both felt that the case would come down to who broke the lease. The landlord felt I had broken the lease by letting Mommy and the boys come to the property but we knew that couldn't be their primary residence but he never let us explain that to him. We felt he broke the lease and therefore was responsible to return the security deposit. The judge very noticeably felt the same way and questioned the lawyer about it for a good long time. After the lawyer gave a few excuses, the judge asked for a moment to think and then announced that  I had won the case and that the landlord would need to return the security deposit plus the court fees. I felt so good knowing I had prepared well and that I presented in such a manner that the case was well received.

Before I left for court that morning, Jeff Luke (the father of the family I stay with while in Corpus) asked if I would like a blessing. I graciously accepted. I was told that I would be able to speak clearly and explain my side of the story well. In the blessing, I was told that a job would come in due time and to trust in the Lord's timing. I was also promised peace and that the Lord was pleased with who I am and the servant of God I am becoming. I felt encouraged following the blessing and excited to push forward trusting in the Lord. I know that as we Trust in the Lord, we can do all things. We may not always understand His will or His timing but He does. If we trust in Him even when the storms come we will find ourselves on a sure foundation and remain faithful and true in the last days.

Long Distance Relationship Pictures

dangers of driving from corpus!

Pumpkin Spice minie wheats!

Long distance is not for the faint of heart. This has been a difficult challenge for both of us. We are lucky and grateful to have technology that allows us to communicate on so many different levels. We are sure to call each other every morning and every night to talk, read scriptures and pray. I am forever grateful for a beautiful bride who sees the importance of doing the important things and putting the Lord first. We love sending each other messages, pictures, videos and silly memes to help encourage each other through out our difficult days. I am truly a blessed man to have such a wonderful wife supporting me through the trials of this life. As you can plainly see, Tia likes sharing more photos of me than she does of herself haha

Hey now, I don't take many selfies... like ever lol

Kid Problems

When Watson gets out of his room in the morning

Watson sprayed the babies with daddies shaving cream while I went potty.
Oh the madness! These boys will get into EVERYTHING and it seems that Watson is always the primary suspect. He really likes to show his younger brothers how to get into mischief. It is going to take some effort to keep these boys out of trouble!

Park Time With Daddy and Golden Coral

We went to a beautiful park and had a great time! My favorite part was walking hand in hand with Calvin talking with him, enjoying the trees and the sunshine together.
It was bit chillier than we expected but we had so much fun! The boys are a bit to manage when all of them are on the loose but they seemed to really enjoy the park. We love spending time with our boys! I climbed up with the four babies for a photo opportunity. They liked it at first but quickly wanted down. Eli ran off for a second and it took a minute to find him but luckily he wasn't too far. I love spending time with our family.

We went out to eat at Golden Corral and the kids did very well. We were complimented a lot on their behavior. We noticed that the last few times we've dared take them out to eat they've done quite well surprisingly!
I am always amazed when we survive going out to eat with the boys. It can be very challenging but overall they always do so well. Hardly ever any yelling or fussing or crying. I love how happy they are when we get to do something fun. Greggie and Calvin really loved the sweet treats and probably ate too much but I am glad they enjoyed it.

Geoffrey's Headshot

My handsome man! Father of our children. I got to be there and watch his picture be taken in Florida!
What mommy didn't share was how much she laughed when the photo was taken. It felt a bit awkward but I think it turned out alright. It is nice to finally have a nice professional photo.

Christmas PJ's Arrived!

We purchased Christmas Pajama's so we could all match! We love them and the boys look absolutely adorable! Each of the boys have a shirt that say Baby Bear. Mommy has one that says Momma bear and mine says Pappa bear. The boys were so excited!

Deer Hunting!

Geoffrey took some one on one time with Greggie and went Deer Hunting. I am so happy they got that special bonding time together. Greggie often cries a bit when Geoffrey leaves for the week to work.He likes having a dad around.
Greggie and I went hunting and had so much fun! We spent time at Great Grandma Geddie's house while we weren't hunting. We hunted out of Cecil's stand on Cane property. We saw a lot of young doe's and some small bucks but nothing worth shooting. I did end up taking a long shot at a doe but I missed. Greggie and I talked to pass the time. We also played a little mario kart. It was so fun having that one on one time with him. We slept in the same room and he sleeps like mommy, taking up all the space! :)
