He finally got it haha

Needless to say, we love spending time together as a family. I am grateful for all the moments that we have to share together. There is nothing better than spending time together as a family. We laugh, we cry but we do it all together. I am so grateful that we are a family. I know that Heavenly Father brought us together when He did. He has a plan of happiness and I know I feel happy with my family. I know that Jesus Christ Lives and Loves us. I am thankful for Greggie and his tender heart and how well he serves his brothers. I am grateful that Calvin always wants to be doing something fun with mommy and daddy. I love how Watson is so adventurous. I love how joyful Perry is. I love how energetic Eli can be. I love how goofy Harrison is with all of us. We have been greatly blessed by the Lord.

Randomness

Our Neighbor next door is moving and gave us a bunch of stuff! A tree included... we now have 9 Christmas trees!
I love holding our sweet boys!
We have been working with Watson to stop sucking his fingers. He seems to be doing very well and we are hopeful that he will stop!

Power Outage

Power outage happened and so we did scriptures in lamp light. It was the worst outage since the time I was a kid and there was that giant ice storm.
Daddy also read some of the Moroni's treasures book to the kids. It was fun and special. Thankfully the power wasn't out for too long. It came back on just before we fell asleep.

The power went out in the evening but that didn't stop us from having a good time! We were able to pull out our candle light and read scriptures together as well as Moroni's treasure. This was a very special time as a family. After putting the boys to bed, mommy and I went to the car to charge our phones. As we stepped outside, the power came back on. Although it was a short power outage, we were reminded of the importance of family and being together. How grateful I am for our eternal family!

Activities At Home

Greggies first loose tooth sense kindergaten.
I may look upset but I am really just trying to use a piece of wood to hammer in a nail. It was a funny moment for mommy to capture a photo!

Primary Gift

The primary brought a gift to the family to welcome us to the ward. It was a little late in the year but it was nice for the boys to feel welcomed!

My Daddy's Birthday Service Project

Geoffrey had the idea of dumping gravel for moms driveway for dad's birthday service project. Brigham helped pay for it too. Geoffrey got the family to come and help assist and spread it out. It was so great to participate as a family in serving mom. Geoffrey tied our balloons together as they blew away mine was pulling his up most of the time and we laughed about how I was dragging him to heaven. Ha ha

What a fun project to plan. We had noticed that Grandma Smith's driveway had gotten filled with holes and was really bumpy so I suggested that we get gravel to fix it. We ended up getting three dump trucks worth. We rented a skid steer and moved all the gravel into place and the rest of the family came and raked it all out. It was a fantastic project. Then we went and let balloons go into the sky to remember Grandpa Smith. The boys came and saw the work and it was a great day! Glad we were able to be there to serve.
