Geoffrey said he was taking me out to eat for our Anniversary Friday night. We picked up Kaylee and I noticed her overnight bag and pillow she carried with her. We went snack shopping for our snowbird trip and then Geoffrey told me to dress comfortably. We would be camping! We drove to mom's shop property and Minnie had set up our Tent and a table and projection screen with a special gift from her! It was so sweet and romantic. We ate delicious Cheese Cake Factory food, including their sweet potato fries and pretzel bites! We invited mom and Adam who was home to watch the slideshow I made. I incorporated our polos over the year, especially during our long-distance period. It was very fun. We then ate peach cobbler that Geoffrey made in the coals of the fire. We had fun in the tent until it was time to sleep. haha. It was a rough night with the humidity and the air mattress was not that comfortable, unfortunately. The morning was beautiful though. I took some pictures. We went for a morning walk before we packed up. Minnie talked with us which was fun too.
What a special memory for our 1 year.
Happy Anniversary Sweetie! It is crazy to think that one year ago we chose to marry each other. Honestly it seems like we have been together our entires lives, and I mean that in a very good way. I am so grateful for you and all you do for me. I am still amazed at how wonderful you truly are and that you are so in love with me. If she hasn't realized it by now, I really enjoy surprising mommy! I decided to take her on a camping trip for our anniversary. I had it all planned out with Minnie and Adam and had Kaylee planning on baby sitting for us. SO MUCH FUN! We watched a slideshow that mommy put together for me and it was so sweet! I love how much she loves me. Everything but actually sleeping in the tent was wonderful. We just couldn't get comfortable in the tent. We were either too hot or too cold haha. Eventually we woke up and went for a walk as the sun was rising and then headed back home. I am so grateful for mommy and all she does and for WHO she is. She is indeed my forever.
On the way home we saw there was a community garage sale and picked up a few winners!
We got this amazing train table with TONS of accessories for 175, the light fixture below for 20! We moved the light fixture that was in the church room to the dining room where we eat.
