After a very long process of waiting and praying and waiting and praying, we finally got the news that he officially got the job at the corporate office! It came with a little bit of a pay raise. He still has to travel to Corpus Christi until he trains someone to take his place. At least they will be paying for his flights and hotel so he won't be staying at a ward members' home anymore on their stiff couch. Of course, we are grateful, it has just been a rough situation for too long.
We decided to celebrate the new job, we would go out to eat with the kids. We had the missionaries join us.
We took them to Cici's pizza :)
We have found it is pretty cheap for our family, and the kids love it!
I GOT THE JOB! We have been praying for this moment for nearly 9 months! How grateful I am for a loving Heavenly Father. I am grateful for a boss who cares enough about me and my family to help me transition to a job at the Corporate Office. It also comes with a 10% pay raise! Yay! I still have to travel to Corpus for a while until we find a replacement for myself. But at least I won't be driving. The Official start date is 3/1/2020. Until then, I will have to take care of travel for myself though so I will still be driving for just a little bit longer. I am so very humbled that I have this new opportunity! I will be in the role of a Project Manager to help manage the build of the new corporate office which will be a change for me but I welcome the opportunity!
