We decided we would look for a house as Geoffrey now has a job here that will be starting in March. We found one fast and things have run smoothly. We have prayed about it and asked that if it is meant to be that things will go well. So far, as I said, it has been smooth sailing! It is a big home that is very nice to grow in, as we would like to have more kids.
As a result, we told the landlord and started doing some yard work we were behind on to prepare for new renters. I love Geoffrey teaching the kids to work hard.
On Mommy's birthday we decided to go look at some homes for "fun"! This very quickly became something that we were seriously considering. After all, I was going to be working in Dallas now so why not consider purchasing a home? It seemed like a good time to purchase! We looked at several homes and then we saw this one and we knew this had to be it! I wanted to be a bit closer to my work but I knew we wouldn't find anything like this one and I could tell Mommy was so happy with it. Everything seems to be going well. We made an offer on the house and told the Lord if he felt we should purchase the house that the sellers would not completely reject us as our offer was pretty low. They countered and we countered back and came to an agreement. We know without a doubt that Heavenly Father wants us here and we are so excited! In order for us to move however, we need to ensure that the house is clean looking so we can find a new tenant for the Landlord. The flower beds had been neglected as I have been traveling so much. We spent over 8 hours trying to get it all done. Unfortunately I did something to my ankle which has made things a little difficult but I will manage. I am grateful for hard working boys and for their desires to help me.
