Geoffrey was excited to see the opportunity come up for us to clean the temple and signed us up right away. I had never done it before and he did it on his mission. Because we had to be there at 10pm-12am, he got a hotel for us as well. This was the first time we've been inside the temple sense we were sealed a little over a year ago. Geoffrey had just gotten his recommend renewed, but when we went to go into the temple they said it had not been activated. So, he called who he could at 10 at night! A stake person was able to vouge for him. So, we started off cleaning in the entrance and waiting rooms. It was amazing how much work it took with poor shoes haha. I didn't think we would be doing so much walking (I should have thought that threw better) so I wore the wrong shoes. It was pretty cool being a part of cleaning the temple. We got to go downstairs which I had never been before. After cleaning the temple we sat and talked by the water fountain and then went to get a snack and to the hotel. The hotel room was really cool. It was themed after a railroad. There was a railroad track going from the floor to the ceiling.
