Geoffrey surprised me again, with a 2-night stay at a hotel in Frisco! He felt that it would be long enough for us to actually get some sleep. The room had 2 rooms, a bedroom with bathroom, a kitchen with a living area, and even a desk that he used as his workspace. He worked while we were gone. We had a great time getting food, making food there, watching random shows on tv, reading from Parenting with Love and Logic, talking, and I got to relax in quiet. That was the nicest for me. I am sensitive to loud noise and it is loud a lot at our house. It was nice to not hear screaming, calling for mommy, or crying for a whole day.

I love making memories with my beautiful bride. She is truly my everything. We were lucky enough to take a couple of days to a hotel and enjoy some time together. Because of Covid and me working from home, it didn't really matter where I worked. So I surprised Mommy and took her to a hotel for a few days. She deserves the break and I love spending one on one time with her. One of the things I love most about mommy is how grateful she is. She is grateful for everything and I love that. It doesn't take much to please mommy so when I am able to make an escape with her, she is so very happy. I loved that we were able to spend time together away from home and that we were able to enjoy each other so much. We finished our movie while eating Cheesecake factory. We even had some really good cheesecake. We slept in, and just enjoyed the time to rest. I am forever grateful for mommy and all she does for our family.
