The weather was awful and as we were driving on to our date, having dropped off the 3 boys, Geoffrey said, so... we aren't going home tonight. WHAT. He surprised me with an overnight in a hotel connecting to the reunion tower! Dinner was in Wolf Gang Puck's 560 restaurant in the Ball!! It was so cool to experience. It was sad to us how disappointing the food was, but I will always remember how sweet Geoffrey was to me, telling me how much he loves me and watching the city all around us. He does the BEST surprises! Here's to 31 years!
I decided to take Tia away for her 31st Birthday! What a fun trip! We ended up getting to the hotel late due to the weather. Once there, we found the neighbors had a dog barking like crazy so I asked to move rooms which they moved us to a nicer, more quiet location. Then we headed to dinner in the Ball! It was so much fun although due to the weather we couldn't see very far at all but it was still wonderful being there as I was with my beautiful bride. I love spending time with my best friend and she makes me so happy! I am grateful to have her in my life and I will always cherish her. I also bought her a massager that we used that night. She loved it! We had to head home pretty early the next day as our baby sitter needed to get going but it was still a lot of fun! The food was okay....Tia didn't really like what they gave her and I felt it could have been a lot better for a Michelin star restaurant. As we were driving home the next morning, it was snowing! So much fun! What a wonderful adventure together!
